Adagio began in a New Jersey basement in 1999, founded by Sofya Kreymerman and her sons Michael and Ilya, and built its name online selling loose leaf tea and its own infusers. The 2026 Snowglobe calendar is the house at its most playful. On the black side stand Candy Cane, Christmas, Gingerbread, Kringles Krush, Pumpkin Spice and Reindeer Fuel, plus a Half-Caff Brekkie.
The greens include Cocomint Green and Pomegranate Green, the oolongs include Maple Crème, Raja Oolong Chai and Vanilla Oolong, and Pu-Erh Chorange carries orange and cocoa. Three whites follow, and six doors are caffeine-free: Krampus Tea, Minty Comfort, Rooibos Noël, Rooibos Nutcracker, Sugar Plum Fairy and Yuletide Toddy.
The loose leaf teas need a strainer or infuser. Adagio also sells decaf and teabag versions of the 2026 calendar at the same $34, each with its own 24 teas, and this review covers the loose leaf one.
Taste & variety
The spread is wider than the festive names suggest: seven blacks, four greens, three oolongs, one pu-erh, three whites and six caffeine-free doors. The oolongs are the interesting shelf, with Maple Crème, a Raja Oolong Chai carrying cocoa nibs and black peppercorn, and a plain Vanilla Oolong.
Pu-Erh Chorange pairs orange with cocoa, a strange idea that earns a door. The whites go sweet: White Tangerine, White Toasted Coconut, and a White Chai with pineapple and coconut. Evenings belong to Rooibos Noël, Rooibos Nutcracker with caramel, chestnut and hazelnut flavours, Sugar Plum Fairy and Yuletide Toddy.
Packaging & gift appeal
A box 8.5 by 12.75 inches and 2 deep, built around a snowglobe theme. Adagio's pitch is that it lives on the counter as a winter decoration, to be shaken and opened one door a day.
The idea is charming. The shape is wide and flat, nearer a large hardback than a tower, so it leans against a wall or a sideboard instead of standing on a windowsill. Each door holds enough tea for an 8 oz pot, which suits a mug at the kitchen table.

What changed since last year
The theme changes from last year's Nutcracker to Snowglobe, with the same box size and format. Of the 24 loose-leaf teas, nine return and 15 are new. The price is USD 34 both years.
